As he’d limited fiscal means at that point, he lived in an apartment with 12 other aspiring actors and earned plutocrat by cooking for them. In Pyaar Ka Punchnama, his character’s four- nanosecond harangue was one of the lengthiest single shots done for a Hindi film to that point. Reviewing it forRediff.com, Shaikh Ayaz plant Aaryan’s” bursting spiel on why women are the way they’re and can noway be understood (to be) riotously funny”. Namrata Joshi of Outlook criticised the film for portraying each of the womanish characters as a” hard-hearted whine”but was appreciative of Aaryan’s harangue and the chemistry between the three men. The film surfaced as a slumberer megahit and he entered a nomination for the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Male Debut.
After the release of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Aaryan completed his engineering degree on the asseveration of his mama. Sudhir Chaudhary, the photographer in Aaryan’s former flicks, showed his work to Subhash Ghai, who was impressed by Aaryan and cast him in his managerial Kaanchi The Unbreakable (2014). It’s a drama about a woman’s hunt for justice when her hubby is boggled by politicians, in which Aaryan played the love interest of the title character ( played by Mishti). Despite a brief part, Aaryan agreed to the design to work with Ghai. Both Akaash Vani and Kaanchi didn’t perform well commercially, leading Aaryan to question his career prospects.

In a cutting review, Rohit Vats of Hindustan Times criticised the film’s reliance on flatulence humour, and wrote that Aaryan”looks good, balls well, does his knaveries well, but ultimately ends up playing the alternate swindle to Rawal. Kartik has a likeable vibe, but that gets drowned in Rawal’s imperishable farting. It didn’t perform well commercially.
Marketable success( 2018 – present)
Aaryan’s advance came in 2018 when he banded with Ranjan and Bharucha for the fourth time in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which also reunited him with Singh. The film tells the story of Sonu (Aaryan) who plots to separate his stylish friend Titu (Singh) from his fiancée Sweety (Bharucha) as Sonu considers her to be a gold digger. Aaryan believed that the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety allowed him to choose from a wider variety of places. He took on the part of a philandering hubby, which was played by Sanjeev Kumar in the original film. Anupama Chopra considered the film to be less misogynistic than the original; she wrote that Aaryan” madly commits”to his part but added that he’d been overshadowed by his leading ladies. Both Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh were commercially successful, each grossing over ₹ 1 billion (US$ 13 million) worldwide.
Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama Love Aaj Kal, a spiritual successor to Ali’s 2009 film of the same name was Aaryan’s only film release of 2020. He played binary places of youthful men in 1990 and 2020, contrary Arushi Sharma and Sara Ali Khan, independently, after working on the erraticisms and body language of the characters to separate them from each other.
