Guru Nanak ji was considered as the author of new religion i.e. Sikhism and was the first Guru of Sikhs. He was a great Indian spiritual leader who believed in harmony and contemplation in the name of the godly soul. Guru Nanak Dev Ji History
Guru Nanak history is veritably wide which includes his early life in which he lived with his family and the life in which his training begin.
Early Life- Guru Nanak Birth Place
He was born in the time 1469 in Rai Bhoe Ki Talwandi on 15th April. This place was part of India by also but now it’s known as Nankana Sahib which is located in the homes of moment’s Pakistan. Guru Nanak Dev Ji birth place is near Lahore. Every time the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is celebrated on full moon day in the month of Katak i.e. October-November. It falls on different dates every time and is celebrated by all the Sikhs around the world.
Parents and Nonage
The name of his father was Mehta Kalu who worked as a vill accountant and belonged to the Khatri estate and the name of his mama was Tripta who was veritably simple and a religious woman. He’d an elder family videlicet Nanki who loved his youngish family a lot. He was an extraordinary child from his nonage and his preceptors and elders used to be astounded with his position of knowledge, understanding, and rational thinking on all the matters especially the spiritual bones.
In his growing age only, he used to put questions on the prevailing rituals of the society and indeed refused to share in similar rituals and religious conditioning and he also put questions on order and the practice of deification. Indeed he refused to put the sacred thread on the”Upanayana ritual”. Besides this, he was veritably intelligent and by the age of 16 only he learned numerous languages similar as Sanskrit, Persian, Hindi, etc.
Two Important Incidents
When his father realized that Guru Nanak wasn’t interested in husbandry or related conditioning so he allowed of giving him some plutocrat for the business sale so that he could do commodity profitable. Therefore, he gave twenty rupees to him and transferred Mardana with him to do some profitable deals. As per the records, Guru Nanak saw some empty and indigent people on the way and spent the entire quantum on his food and said what could be more profitable and called a true bargain than helping the indigent. This incident is known as”Sacha Sauda”or” True Bargain”.
Another incident was of Sultanpur Lodhi. His cherished family got married to Jai Ram. She moved to Sultanpur. Guru Nanak also went with her family and family-in- law for some days and started working there under his family-in- law. In 1487, He was married to Mata Sulakhni and had two sons videlicet, Sri Chand and Lakhmi Das. In Sultanpur, he used to visit a near swash to bathe and meditate. One day he went there and didn’t return for three days. When he returned, he was looking like a man held and when he spoke, he said-There’s no Hindu or Muslim. These words were considered as the morning of his training.
Spiritual Peregrinations( Udasiyan)
He took majorly four spiritual peregrinations in thesub-continent to spread the communication of God. First of all, he visited his parents and told them the significance of these peregrinations and also he started travelling. In the first trip, he covered utmost of the corridor of Pakistan and India and this trip took nearly 7 times i.e. from 1500 Announcement. to 1507 Announcement. He covered most corridor of present- day Sri Lanka in his alternate trip and it also took 7 times.
He covered mountain regions in his third trip similar as the Himalayas, Kashmir, Nepal, Sikkim, Tibet, and Tashkent. It took place from 1514 Announcement to 1519 Announcement and took nearly 5 times to complete. He visited Mecca and other places in the Middle East on his fourth trip and it took 3 times. In his final trip, he spread the communication in Punjab for two times. It’s believed that he spent nearly 24 times of his life on these expeditions and travelled on bottom to nearly km. Multitudinous languages were known to him but he generally used the original languages to spread his communication with the people which came more effective during these expeditions.
He tutored people that to reach God, we don’t bear any rituals and preachers. He believed that every human being can have that position of spiritual perfection that can lead him to God. To attain God, he asked people to repeat the name of God. He tutored people to live a life of church by helping and serving others. He asked them to remain down from any kind of fraud or exploitation and living an honest life. Principally, through his training he innovated three pillars of the new religion i.e. Sikhism that are adverted below.
Naam Japna This means repeating the name of the God and exercising the name of the God through contemplation in different modes similar as singing, chanting, and reciting along with studying God’s Name and his merits. For Sikhs, There’s only one eternal creator and God ie. Waheguru and we should exercise his name.
Kirat Karni This simply means to earn actually. He anticipated people to live a normal life of householders and earn actually for living through their own physical or internal sweats and always accept both pleasure and mournings as gifts and blessings of God.
Vand Chakna This simply means to partake and consume together. In this, he asked people to partake some part of his wealth with the community. Exercising Vand Chakna is an important pillar of Sikhism where every Sikh contributes as per whatever possible in his hands with the community. Sharing and Giving are important graces of Sikhism founded by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
His Donation to Humanity
He was a veritably regardful and cherished leader at that time among the people of all faiths. Indeed moment as well, people of other faiths respect and believe in his training. During the period of Guru Nanak, the estate system was at its peak and he spoke against it. He reached people against all these demarcation similar as estate, creed, race, status, etc. He tutored people to see humanity above all and everything. He asked people to conquer their minds because if they can conquer their minds, they can conquer the world. Humanity is over all the pride and evil practices. All mortal beings are equal and have equal light of God.

Death (Joti Jot)
In his last days, he was living in Kartarpur, the municipality which was established by Guru Nanak himself in the time 1522 Advertisement. He came a veritably cherished and regardful spiritual leader by that time for his donation to humanity and his training to society. Arguments were passing at that time on the burial solemnities of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Who would enjoy the body of Guru Nanak because be it Sikhs, Hindus, or Muslims, everyone wanted to perform the burial rituals according to them. Also, Guru Nanak himself introduced the conception of Joti Jot and also explained it. He mentioned that only his mortal body would die but the light within the body wasn’t perishable and would continue to enlighten. He said this light would pass to his new successor who was Guru Angad Dev Ji.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji took his last breath in Kartarpur on September 22, 1539 Announcement. Before that, he asked Sikhs and Hindus to place some flowers on his right side and Muslims to place flowers on his left side and asked them whichever flowers would remain fresh throughout the whole night, would have the authorization for burial solemnities. When everyone came another morning to check Guru’s body and flowers, they were all truly astonished to find no traces of Guru Nanak’s body but all the flowers were fresh as it is.
Thus, everyone performed burial solemnities according to them through those flowers.
