Akshaye Khanna was born in Mumbai in 1975. He’s the middle son of Bollywood actor and politician Vinod Khanna, and the youngish family of actor Rahul Khanna.

After studying in Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai, Khanna made his acting debut in Bollywood in 1997 with the movie Himalay Putra, which went within important success at box office. When Madhur Bhandakar left the film Black and White, TV Periodical director Sushil Patani (Kashmeer TV diurnal) was inked to direct the film. Akshaye Khanna was inked for the terrorist part and Hrishita Bhatt opposite him. All plans were ultimately scrapped and Subhash Ghai took over as director. Subash gave the part to Anurag Sinha.

In 2005, Feroz Khan launched a new movie”Shaadi.com”. To be produced by Feroz Khan and Directed by Hansal Mehta Starring Fardeen Khan, Celina Jaitley and Paresh Rawal. The film was remitted a many months latterly. Hansal Mehta had before tried to make a different film with the same title with Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. Akshaye Khanna was also approached for the super eminent part in the film. Both times the original patron’s backed out due to actors bad request. Declined Anuj’s part in Chingaari (2006).
